Mr. Muhimbi holds a National Accountancy Diploma from Dar es Salaam School of Accountancy, Master of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Birmingham, UK and is a Certified Public Accountant in Public Practice - CPA.
He his currently CEO and Managing Director of IMMMA Consultancy Services Limited and has vast board membership experience on the Boards of Akiba Commercial Bank, Unit Trust of Tanzania (Asset Management and Investor Services, AMIS & Microfinance Plc, MFI), Governing Council of the National Board of Accountants and Auditors, National Board of Accountants and Auditors NBAA, Ardhi University and Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH).
He is a member of the Institute of Directors in Tanzania and is currently the Chairman of the Social Security Regulatory Authority (SSRA).
Miss Odunayo Akinyede was appointed as the Managing Director of Guaranty Trust Bank (Tanzania) Limited in August 2022, having previously served as the Chief Operating Officer since the establishment of the Tanzanian franchise in 2016. During her tenure as COO, she oversaw various operational processes and played a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of the Tanzanian franchise. Prior to this, she served as the Branch Coordinator for the Transaction Service Group at Guaranty Trust Bank Plc in Nigeria, where she ensured seamless operations and delivered quality service for all 14 branches for 2 years. Her leadership style is characterized by her ability to inspire and motivate her team to achieve exceptional results, even in the face of challenges.
Miss Akinyede is an accomplished banking professional with an extensive career spanning over 20 years. Her career trajectory is marked by her unwavering commitment to operational excellence, customer experience improvement, sales and marketing strategies, cash management, and process support. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and a remarkable ability to deliver quality service that exceeds customer expectations. She previously worked with First Bank of Nigeria Plc for 6 years before joining GTBank in 2006.
Miss Akinyede holds a B.Sc. in Sociology from the University of Ilorin, a Chartered Banker MBA from the Bangor University, an MBA from Ambrose Alli University, and a Masters in Managerial Psychology from the University of Ibadan. Her academic achievements are further complemented by several Senior Management courses, including the Core Banking System (ICS) in Jordan, Cash Management School in South Africa, Card Settlement Training in Egypt, and the Michigan Ross Executive Leadership Development Programs in 2019. She has also undergone training in Effective Performance Management and Excellent Customer Service programs, demonstrating her commitment to continuous improvement and development.
Mr. Segun Agbaje is the Group Chief Executive Officer of GTCO, one of Africa’s leading banking groups with a client base of over 20 million customers and business outlays across ten (10) African Countries and the United Kingdom.
Mr. Agbaje started his career in 1988 as an Auditor at Ernst & Young, USA. He subsequently joined GTBank as a pioneer staff in 1991 and rose through the ranks to become Executive Director in 2000 and Deputy Managing Director in 2002. In 2011, he was appointed Managing Director and CEO of GTBank, and under his leadership the Bank became one of Nigeria’s most profitable banks, maintaining impressive year-on-year growth in market share and profitability.
Mr. Agbaje is widely regarded as one of Africa’s leading CEOs with a reputation for identifying capital opportunities and executing business deals. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration, both from the University of San Francisco, USA. He is also an alumnus of the Harvard Business School and has over 30 years of experience in investment, commercial and international banking.

Mr. Agbaje also revolutionized consumer lending in Nigeria through GTBank’s offering of Quick Credit, which gives individuals and small businesses instant, real-time access to loans at a low interest of 1.3 percent monthly.

Mr. Agbaje currently serves on the boards of GTBank (Ghana) Limited, GTBank (UK) Limited, GTBank (Kenya) Limited, and GTBank (Tanzania) Limited. He is also a Director on the MasterCard Advisory Board (the Middle East and Africa), and was elected to the Board of Directors of PepsiCo Inc., USA as an Independent Director and a member of the company’s audit committee in July 2020.
Mr. Chandaria holds a BSc. in Economics & Mathematics from the University of Bristol, UK; a Master in International Business from ESC Grenoble, France and an M.Sc in International Securities, Investment & Banking from the University of Reading in the UK.
He serves as Non-Executive Director on the boards of Guaranty Trust Bank (Kenya) Ltd and its subsidiaries. He also serves as a Director on the Boards of Kenpoly Manufacturers Ltd and Blowplast Group, both entities are incorporated in Kenya. Mr. Chandaria served as Partner with Kinetic Capital LLP, UK and Director Mosaic Capital Research Limited, London, UK.
His 21years working experience has spanned over credit analysis, financial modelling, debt financing, business investments, funds management, manufacturing, sales and banking.
Dr. Temu holds a First Degree in Medicine, Masters in Public Health and Diploma in Palliative Care, as well as a University Certificate in Geriatric Health Care Management.
She is currently Country Director for AMREF Health Africa in Tanzania, having worked for AMREF Health Africa for over ten (10) years in different capacities. While in AMREF Health Africa she served as Project Manager, Head of Programmes, Deputy Country Director in Tanzania and Country Director for Ethiopia. Prior to joining the organisation she worked with the Tanzanian Government for several years in various roles, which includes; Head of Cancer Prevention at Ocean Road Cancer Institute in Tanzania, and as a General Medical Practitioner and Researcher under Maternal and HIV Research Projects at Muhimbili National Hospital.
Dr. Temu has expertise and skills in public health, health strategy development, organisational development, strategic leaderships, health programme development and leadership, operational research, training and counselling. Her areas of interest fall under reproductive and maternal health, HIV and AIDS, non-communicable diseases, geriatric health and palliative care. Florence has taken several leadership and management courses including being part of PEAK Fellowship by Population Fellows Programs by the University of Michigan, USA. She is a member of the Institute of Directors of Tanzania (IoDT). Florence is currently enrolled in the Women Leaders for the World Programme of the Global Women Leadership Network.
Ms. Mwakio holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of Dar es Salaam, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nairobi, Diploma in Sales Management and Marketing from Cambridge Tutorial College, Diplome de langue - French from Alliance Francaise – Dar es Salaam and Diploma in Global Finance Core Program from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business (ABInBev University).
Moreover, Ms. Mwakio is a member of Institute of Directors in Tanzania (IoDT) and a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCCA).
Ms. Mwakio has 29 years post graduate experience serving as Asst Electrical Engineer, Teacher, Marketing and Administration Manager, Sales Engineer, General Manager, Finance Trainee, Management Accountant, Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, Finance Manager and Budget and Business Performance Manager East Africa.
Ms. Mwakio is a seasoned finance professional having worked in corporate finance for over 15 years. She worked for Tanzania Breweries PLC for over 13 years in various roles in finance and later worked for 2 years at Alistair Tanzania, a logistics group, as Head of Finance.
Ms. Mwakio has expertise and skills in Management, Accountancy, Sales, Marketing, Planning, Analysis and Finance.
Ms. Mwakio is currently Finance Manager and part of the Executive Committee of Irvine's Tanzania, a company that produces and sells day old chicks. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Dar-es-Salaam Mikocheni where she also serves as Board Member.
Mr. Igangula holds a Master’s degree of Engineering Management (project management) from the Collage of Engineering and Technology, University of Dar es Salaam.
He also holds a Diploma in Architecture and Building design both from Ardhi Institute, Dar es Salaam and International Certificate in Architecture, Energy and Environment (Tools for climate Design) awarded by Lund University, Sweden.
Moreover, Mr. Igangula is an experienced Architect in design and construction and he currently work as a Managing Director at National Estate and Designing Consultancy Co. Ltd and has over 39 years post graduate experience serving as Architect II, Architect I, Senior Architect, Principal Architect and Director of Operations.
Mr. Igangula has anchored several special management assignments including a role in policy implementation as Director of Operations with NEDCO Ltd, President of Yanga Co. Ltd and National Chairperson of Tanzania Mines Construction, Energy and Allied Workers Union (TAMICO).
He has also served in several board roles including but not limited to; President East African Institute of Architects (EAIA), President Architects Association of Tanzania (AAT), Board Member Architect & Quantity Surveyor Registration Board (AQRB), President School of Architect and Design (SADE), Ardhi University, Board Member Parastatal Pension Fund, Board Member Minimum Wage Board (Private Sector), Board Member Sectoral Wage Board (Mining) – Ministry of Labour and Board Member Tanzania Extractive Industry, Transparent Initiative (TEITI).
He is a certified member of the Institute of Directors of Tanzania (IoDT) and is currently Vice Chairman of Board of National Estates and Designing Consultancy Co. Ltd company based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Mr. Suluo holds Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Sheffield, UK. He also holds a Bachelors of Commerce Degree in Finance from the University of Dar es Salaam. He is professionally qualified in Accountancy [Certified Public Accountant - CPA (T)] and has a registration status as a Fellow Certified Public Accountant.
He also holds a Diploma in International Public Sector Accounting Standards (Diploma in IPSAS) issued by the National Board of Accountants & Auditors (NBAA). Mr. Suluo is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and holds Certificate in MS Windows 2000 Server and MS SQL 2000 Database Design and is an Associate Chartered Management Institute Member (ACMI) of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) of the UK, and a member of Tanzania Association of Accountants (TAA).
Mr. Suluo has 28 years post graduate experience serving as Systems Analyst Trainee, Systems Analyst, Zone Accounting Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, Senior Principal Accountant, Senior Principal Accountant Cum Quality Manager, Manager Financial Systems Cum Quality Manager, Manager Expenditure Accounting Cum Quality Manager, Finance Manager, Director of Corporate Affairs, and Director of Finance, Human Resource & Administration. He is currently the Director of Finance and Accounts at Tanzania Shipping Agencies Corporation (TASAC).
